   This page is dedicated to my son, Thad and his wife, Carrie. They have had to say their goodbyes at this time, in order for Thad to serve his    country in Iraq. My heart goes out to both of them as I know this
has been a difficult time in being separated. I have seen the
   love these two have for one another and that very love has given them
both the strength and courage to face each day.
It gives me a peace and joy to know how much Carrie loves Thad, and too see the love he has for her.
Thank you Carrie, for loving my son!

  It is my prayer and hope that God will keep Thad safe and bring him home soon, to be reunited with Carrie and our family.
 We all are proud of Thad and for all those who have to say "Goodbye"
to those they love to serve their country. May not a one of us forget these men and women, who have to be away from their loved ones and from the home they know.
 May our "Goodbyes" soon become our "Welcome Home"!
